Wow, the semester goes so fast. Especially when you meet just once a week.

Today is course review day and grade book update day.

I  attempted to assist your life path decision making process.

1) Practice delayed gratification (be frugal and save) while taking calculated risks and building your credit and wealth.

2) Do you want a career in Corporate America, Entrepreneurship or both.
              a) Corporate America - Attire, Interviewing, Resume and Behavior in the workplace
              b) Entrepreneurship
              c) Both - Start in Corporate America and learn (build network, learn processes, find
opportunities) then take your savings and start your own business.

IMPROVE YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS

10 Great Apps Every Leader Needs to Be Effective

It's not enough for twenty-first-century leaders to focus on getting things done. They must also connect with employees to inspire performance. Digging deeper, top management today needs to marry purpose and meaning to each employee's contribution. October 5, 2018 - Class #7 - Personal Credit

Other than the 1st class about Gratification, I consider this class about personal credit to be the most important class.

Our speaker will discuss everything you need to know about credit.

Why is credit so important. Having good credit and knowing how to use it:

  1. Some employees require good credit for the better jobs
  2. Having good credit will keep your living expenses lower
  3. Having good credit will help with real estate investing
  4. Having good credit is an asset that help you lower your stress level
You will be given a test based on what you learn today. So be attentive, take notes and participate.

If you have any personal credit questions, Mr. Carter can help after class.

September 28, 218 - Class #6 - Post Career Day

I had planned to discuss job websites.

However, I really like some of the reports submitted. I would like to review Career Day and have fellow students discuss their experiences.
