September 21, 2018 - Career Day
There is no class today.
I am expecting you to participate in Career Day. This is a time for you to speak to recuiters and test your interview skills, ask questions to improve and seek advise.
So many young people do not have the chance you will be given. Take advance of it.
Also gather information for your Report that is due Thursday September 27,2018 by 11:59 pm.

September 14, 2018 - Class #5 - Interviews
Today we are again in Ware Hall room 102.
It's another joint class to discuss interview techniques. This is the third of three classes, getting you ready for next week's Career Day.

- Experience of one-on-one interviews
- Your Business Attire (remember include a picture in your report)
- Your Resume
- Ask recruiters their opinion of your attire, resume and interview skills. Ask how you can improve. Take any critique as helpful and not personal. Remember.." its not personal, its business". I want you to continually improve your interview skills.
- Did you see other student's making mistakes?
- How can you improve?

September 7, 2018 - Class #4 - Resume & Linkedin
We will have this class at the same time and in the same building. But in room 102.
Today we have Ms. Jamarri Rollocks.
You has a homework assignment that was due yesterday. After this class, I will ask you to do back and make any corrections you think you need to make to your resume, cover letter and/or linkedin account.
My suggestion for a good grade. Do not wait until the last minute.

Take your time and think about this subject. Do not wait until the last minute and write a quick bullet point report saying, " I am going to do...this....this..."
Watch this short video.
Do not write just a set of goals. Include the steps that you will take to get to your 10 year goals.
Remember when you decided to go to college (a goal)? What were the steps you know you needed to accomplish that goal.
Cover at least the following areas:
