Delayed Gratification has its risks because of the time period created during the delay. During that time period, bad things can happen. Some of these things are unforeseen and could cause the reduction or elimination of the gratification.
I really enjoyed this activity/message given about risk taking. It doesn't relate to me directly but some how I can correlate it with my entrepreneurial goals because this video and exercise in class helped me realize that taking risk can be good but must be strategic.-DariusWilliams

This was actually one of my favorite lectures. The discussion of gratification and risk applied to a lot of real life instances and allowed the class to think in a new way. we prepare for risk our entire lives, our lives are actually centered around it. The video of Deal or No Deal only made the lesson even more real.

I really enjoyed this lecture and I loved seeing the video of you on deal or no deal I used to play that game online all the time. I learned that sometimes taking a risk is a good thing and that I need to take more risk in my life.
I really enjoyed this class, mainly because i got to see my professor on live tv making very risky decisions that turned out in his favor. I learned that making risky decisions could actually be good if you are smart about them. _ Darrain Rudolph
