  5. The career fair went very well for myself. I was able to get in-touch with all prospective companies that I would like to intern for. Several companies were impressed with my resume, and cover letters. My attire was also very stylish, classic, and professional. Although, I had applied to the companies before the career fair it was beneficial for the recruiters to get a real life impression of myself off paper.

  6. The Career Fair was definitely an opportunity to take advantage of . This was the most valuable experience I have had since the school year has began. After the fair I was able to pin point areas that I need to improve in during an interview.

  7. The career fair was a great learning experience and networking opportunity. I met many recruiters who were Alumni at Clark Atlanta University. I think it was very useful to research the company before hand to make the conversation with the recruiters easy. There were a wide variety of companies present. Therefore, there were opportunities available for every major and concentration. The speakers in the previous classes helped me prepare for the career fair because it allowed me to adjust my resume and practice interviewing. Also, I got an idea of what recruiters are looking for in candidates.

  8. The career fair was a great learning experience and networking opportunity. There were a variety of companies present that had opportunities for all majors. Also, many recruiters I met were Clark Atlanta Alumni. I found that the classes we had prior to the career fair really helped me prepare for it. The interviewing presentation emphasized the importance of researching the company and being prepared. I found that tip extremely useful at the career fair. In addition, the class about attire and resumes allowed me to be prepared to make a good impression on the recruiters. Each class focused on a different aspects however, all of them combined allowed me to be successful at the career fair.

  9. This was my first career fair so it was very different. With that being said, there's a lot I can improve on but I feel it was okay. I was able to connect with one of the businesses so that was a good thing I got out of it. I know what I need to do next time.

  12. The career fair gave me an anxiety attack! I honestly was so scared when I arrived because I didn't know what to expect. I sucked it up and did it tho. I spoke with about 8 companies and after I spoke with the first one it was honestly smooth sailing from there. I am really praying that I get an internship with EY and/or Union Pacific.

  15. This was my third career day that I've attended and this one opened up many opportunities as a rising Sophomore opposed to being a freshman last year in which many companies are not looking for. Many companies interviewed me on the spot and gave me offers for an internship which may lead to a stable job coming right out of college. The next one shall be better I am sure of it.

The interviews I followed the advice given to me and made a show to speak clearly with eye contact. It was really great to be there and I am grateful.

  21. During this career fair I felt I was a lot more prepared due to the sessions we had on interviews and attire. I also felt I was taken more seriously because I am now a sophomore, during my first career fair I was a freshman and most companies weren't interested.
